I graduated from the University of Southern California, where I received bachelor’s degrees in public relations and political science. I also studied web development. I’ve worked on social/digital media strategy, social media marketing, strategic communications and culture marketing projects at companies including The Walt Disney Company, Nickelodeon and Levi Strauss & Co.
I currently work for IBM in Silicon Valley, focused on external communications for IBM machine learning and artificial intelligence.
I’m passionate about news, social and digital media and the future of communications.
Recent Work + Projects:
I closed out my senior year having designed and prototyped an iOS app, conducting a directed research study about digital political engagement strategies and finishing my work with Nickelodeon’s social and digital media team. I also wrapped up my year at the Blackstone Launchpad.
After graduating, I participated in an intensive two-week academic program at Silicon Valley’s top technology and digital media companies. A select group of Annenberg students had been chosen for this inaugural program, during which I researched technology companies and discussed industry issues and trends with senior level public relations and communications leaders at companies including Google, Facebook, Salesforce, Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Ventures and others (read about the experience here).
I then spent the summer at LS&Co.’s headquarters in San Francisco working on their corporate affairs team, supporting corporate and executive communications efforts, driving media analytics and data reporting initiatives and writing for their digital and social platforms.
During the last year, I worked at The Walt Disney Company on their technology and enterprise communications and social media team, promoting DisneyTECH and company culture across owned social and digital platforms.
